CHEMSTRIP® E. coli O157/O145 is a one-step immunochromatographic test for the rapid and early detection of IgM antibodies against the O polysaccharide of the lipopolysaccharide (LPS) of Escherichia coli O157 and O145 in human serum, plasma, and whole blood samples. Thanks to the incorporation of the exclusive GlycoEng technology that allows to obtain recombinant glycoprotein-based antigens, CHEMSTRIP® E. coli O157/O145 has an excellent diagnostic performance, minimizes cross-reaction with other Gram-negative bacteria and it is the first serospecific assay for O157 and O145 that allows to differentiate O157 and O145 E. coli infections from those caused by other E. coli serogroups.
